Fear of Failure
This appears progressively ominous every day.
Fear often arises when we imagine what might happen in the future. Fear of failure, fear of collapse, and disappointment. All fears fill our increasingly confused minds, making us hesitant to move forward. In fact, anything can happen without our knowledge; both good and bad things will exist indefinitely. It is simply how we respond to it. However, all of these fears are simply a feeling of “fear,” nothing more or less. What this means is that the future event has not occurred; it is only a figment of our imagination. Projections that are not accurate or precise. All of this occurs in our heads.
So what is the solution? Isn’t it nice to just say, “Don’t think about it?” It’s not so easy…
Fear might arise from a single idea about how we would react to potential negative events. Yes, it is beneficial to be aware of potential negative consequences. The goal is to understand how we can overcome it. For example, if we are frightened to leap from a trampoline to a soft spot covered in a mattress, it will undoubtedly not hurt, right? But we’re terrified because we’ve imagined what might happen if my jump wasn’t directed. What happens if the trampoline breaks while I’m jumping? What happens if the roof suddenly collapses? There are too many things to think about and worry. Actually, there is only one solution: yes, BE BRAVE. Just do it; after all, you already know what risks may exist, providing that everything under your control has been handled. Simply guide your leap. The trampoline must be robust; others have demonstrated it, and there is a guard present. If the roof appears to have collapsed, the location is not accessible to the public today. Even if it falls due to a natural disaster, you have no influence over the situation.
See what happened? You wasted five minutes thinking about it while bouncing on the trampoline. When you leap, nothing occurs, correct? Instead, you’re joyful and relieved. Fear is okay, as long as it is not excessive. Excessiveness is not good. Fear drains time and energy, causing us to lose focus on things over which we have control. Outside of that, it is not our concern as long as we do everything we can to the best of our abilities. It is God’s responsibility to determine.
If the fear isn’t just jumping from a trampoline, but also your future, which you doubt? Especially if that fear is more than one small thought. It is certainly unsettling to ourselves. Everyone must have been worried about what would happen to them in the future. Again, there is only one solution: yes, BE BRAVE. If you are terrified, keep trying to walk. So just walk while you’re terrified. After all, the result will reach at its destination, right?
Our life story is made up of countless moments of happiness, grief, courage, fear, and many more. We won’t always feel cheerful and brave. There are moments when we feel sad and afraid. All of this shapes us for the better, I’m sure. “You’ve gotta believe, okay? Myself”.
